WHY F- CANNOT BE CONVERTED INTO F2-.EXPLAIN WITH REASONS

This is not treue that F can`t be converted to F2. However, due to small size of F and 7 valence electrons, F-F bond is very weak, even weaker than I-I bond. Hope this helps. Best of luck!
