NH3 is not a strong field ligand it is neutral ligand.
in Ni(CN)6 2+ pairing takes place and so elctron enters into t2g as CN is a strong field ligand
the distribution of electrons in degenerate orbital t2g follows hunds rule for the first 3 electrons
but the 4th electron enters into t2g and gets paired up if the ligand is strong
and it enters into eg if the ligand is weak
weak field ligands have low spin and strong field ligands have high spin.
