The addition of cobalt to the glass mix will produce a blue colour and its intensity depends upon the base glass.
Uranium produces a yellow coloured glass (This type of Uranium Glass is termed 'Vaseline Glass' by collectors in the USA), however when used in a very high lead containing glass will produce a deep red colour
