Which one has higher 1st Ionsitaion energy Iodine or Iodine (minus 1) i.e. iodine anion ?please provide the reason for this

I(minus) have more ionisation energy than I because I(minus) has 8 electrons in the outermost shell which is more stable and hence it has less tendency to lose electrons. Hence one have to give more energy to the atom to lose one electron from it.

According to me I has greater Ionisation energy than I- as it is difficult to take one electron from I in comparison to I-

Iodine minus have more IE because removing election from half filled or full filled electronic configuration is difficult so req more amount of energy
