Prolactin, also known as Luteotrophic hormone (LTH) is secreted from the acidophilic cells of anterior lobe of pituitary gland. This hormone stimulates the production of milk in the mammary glands after parturition.
Human chorionic gonadotropin, estrogen and progesterone are secreted by placenta during pregnancy. However, estrogen and progesterone are also produced by ovarian follicles and corpus luteum respectively.
So, the correct answer is 'Prolactin'.
