what is the structure of Fe3O4 ? & what is oxidation state of ‘Fe’ in it? does all ‘Fe’ have same o.s or diff ?

Fe3O4 is written as => FeO. Fe2O3
in which two Fe atoms has +3 oxidation state and one Fe has +2 state.
Hence, the avg. oxidaion number becomes = > (2 + 3 + 3)/3 = > 8/3.
