its the diffrence between double salt and the coordination compound complex. 
actually what happens when u will dissolve double salt in water they will dissociate into constituent ions and loose all of the property of constituent ions . 
but when u dissolve a coordination compound , in water then it will not dissociate into its constituents and all of the property of constituents will remain as always .
