the hybridization of graphite is  sp2  due to sp2 hybridization one pi electron delocalise.due to delocalisation of pi electron graphite will conduct electricity

The electronic configuration of carbon is 1s22s22p2, i.e. with four valence electrons spread in the s and p orbitals. In order to create covalent bonds in diamond, the s orbital mixes with the three p orbitals to form sp3 hybridization
graphite is a good conducter  of heat and electricity .
its one of the allotropes of carbon

Hybridization of carbon atom in graphite is SP2 therefore it forms a layered solid and could also conduct electricity whereas the hybridization of diamond is SP3
Mr Umakant told the hybridisation of diamond and has very well explained
