Solubility product ( Ksp ) is a equilibrium constant in a chemical reaction in which a ionic solid dissociates into yield its ion in the solution .
general formula for the solubility product is given under
Mx +Xy = xm^p+ + yx ^q-
S=( K(sp) / x^x*y^y )^ 1/ x+y
where S is the solubility product .
its nature depend upon
1- type of solute , solvent
2- no of ions it will form .
3- value of dissociation constant (alpha ) at some extent .
