Oxoanion/Oxyanion:- An oxyanion or oxoanion is a chemical compound with the generic formula AxOyz− (where A represents a chemical element and O represents an oxygen atom). Oxoanions are formed by a large majority of the chemical elements.
Ex-ClO^2-,MnO^4-
Oxocation/Oxycation-An oxycation is a polyatomic ion with a positive charge that contains oxygen.Ex-NO+,O2^+
In simple words oxoanion are the compound having negative charge oxygen whereas oxoanion are the compound having negative charge ion.

Oxyanion/ Oxoanion – An oxyanion is an anion containing oxygen.
Examples: Nitrate (NO3-), Nitrite (NO2-), sulfite (SO32-) and hypochlorite (ClO-) are all oxyanions.

Oxycation/ Oxocation – An oxycation is apolyatomic ionwith apositive chargethat containsoxygen.
Examples:
Dioxygenyl ion, O2+
Nitrosonium ion, NO+
Nitronium ion, NO2+
Vanadyl ion, VO2+, a very stable oxycation
