HI DEAR
It is a hard tough thermoplastic substance which is the coagulated latex of certain Malaysian trees. It consists chiefly of a hydrocarbon isomeric with rubber and is now used chiefly used  for electrical insulation.

Gutta percha is the tans form of 1,3 poly isoprene i.e. natural rubber
It is mainly used in electrical devices
