The reaction of sulphur trioxide and conc. sulphuric acid is given as .
SO3 +  H2SO4 → H2S2O7

Sulpher tri oxide gas is dissolved in conentrated sulphuric acid to form fuming sulphuric acid commonly known as Oleum.
SO3 + H2SO4 --------> H2S2O7
