Its related to law of conservation of energy. Whenever the total entropy of universe is increased, in order to have total energy constant for the universe; as per law of conservation of energy; the universe has to expand and we know the the universe is ever expanding as its total entropy is increasing. The equation S=Delta Q/T must be applied with care as it is valid only if temperature of substance remain approx. constant.
