We know that orbital angular momentum is represented by the relatin root over l(l+1)h/2pi. By this relation we can say that orbital angular momentum of s orbital is zero since l =0. But if we say this there will be a defect. We know that angular momentum will definitely involve mass, velocity and radius. But if the OAM is zero, then either mass of electron , velocity of electron and radius of atom will be zero. But mass cannot be zero otherwise electron will not exist, velocity of electron cannot be zero and radius of atom can never be zero otherwise electron will be on nucleus which is impossible. Then tell me on what ground should I consider that orbital angular momentum of electron in set orbital is zero? Please reply....
