Vikas sir, the answer that u have given that 3s 3p and 3d have same energies for single electron species... I know about that thing sir, but my doubt in the question which i had postedis(I would clear myself a bit more...) Why can't the electron drop to 1s or 2s=2p orbital from 3p subshell? Thus it will give total emission lines as 2 in this case not just 1 then...?
