inner transition elements are placed on the lower part of the modern periodic table . 
they consisting of two types of element 
1- lanthanoids 
2- actinoids 
the electronic configuration is (n-2 ) f ^ 0-14 (n-1 ) d ^ 0-2 ns ^ 2 
these are actually belongs to group 6 and 7 .

Hi ! Prabin,
             Inner transition metal is one of the group of chemical elements on the periodic table.They are normally shown in two row below all of the other elements. They include elements 57-71 (Lanthanides) and 89-103(actinides).
The electronic configuration of Inner transition metal is (n-2)f1-14(n-1)d0-1ns2.
note :There are total of 14 elements in the inner transition elements which are arranged in two series of 14 elements.The first series is called Lanthanoids and another one is called actinoides.
