Al+3 and Mg+2 have same number of electrons(isoelectronic) yet Al+3 has 1 more proton as compared to Mg+2, hence the effective nuclear charge is more which means the electrons of Al+3 are tightly bounded (smaller size) as compared to Mg+2.Since the size of the Al+3 is smaller,hence the hydration energy is also greater..Hence order of hydrated size = Al+3 > Mg+2> Na+1
