Is Nitrolim CaCN2 or (CaCN2+C)? I had this question in one of my test papers (Nitrolium is : ) in which there were two options which were CaCN2+C and CaCN2+ N2... in which I marked the latter. However, the key mentions the former one.

This must be the Reaction:
CaC2 + N2 =====> C + CaCN2

when N2 gets reacted with CaC2 then the products formed are Carbon plus CalciumCN2.
