How to calculate coordination number? In solid state

We can calcu
Ate coordination number by simply counting number of atoms that suround the central atom in the structure.Mind it each atom share some part with other atom.
Eg:-an atom in simple cubic lattiece corner is shared by 8 other cubic lattice so for each atom 1/8 atom is counted.thats it.
