How can I find magnetic moment from chemical formula of a coordination compound

mention the ques clearly , what exactly u want to know , i mean which chemical formula are mentioned , is that empirical or normal formula ?? 
u can find out the magnetic moment of the coordination compound , by the following formula also . 
U = root over of n (n+2 ) BM 
u stands for magnetic moment , 
n stands for no of unpair electron 
bm stands for the unit of magnetic moment which is bohr magneton .
