Dear Student,
In case of sulfur analogs H-Bond is not found in between molecules, where as in case of Oxygen analogs formation of H-Bonds makes the difference.
Strength of intermolecular H-Bond decreases in the manner-
H2O>ethanol>ethoxyethane
So, strong H-BOND force surpass the effect of molecular mass and reverses the boiling point order.
