Dear sir, I was facing problems in this question. Calculate the total number of oxygen atoms present in 1.80g of glucose c6h12o6. Sir you just answered my question and it was 6.022*10^22 But I was just curious to know how we would solve the question if the question asked us to find the no of oxygen molecules. Will it be 6.023*10^21*3 ? Thanks a lot!

Hello Jai,I understand your doubt. The question would never ask you about the no. of oxygen molecules because it is wrong to say it.A molecule is as a whole which is of glucose. 1 molecule of glucose has 6 atoms of oxygen. We cant say 3 molecules of oxygen..Hope you understand. Thanks
