Cu2+ ion reacts with excessive nh3 and forms the complex ion [cu (nh3)4]2+. Now, if 5×10^-3 moles of cuso4 is mixed with 500 ml and 0.5 M aquos nh3 , find [cu2+] ( Kf is given 1.1 × 10^13) { the answer in the exercise book is given 5.4 × 10^-14 but I can`t quite reach there. Please help}

In acidic solutions, ammonia reacts with proton and forms ammonium ion which further cannot act as a ligand. Also, no free ammonia molecules are available for co-ordination. Hence, it does not form a complex with copper ion.
The reaction is as follows:
NH3+H+NH4+
