Dear student
Covalent radius of carbon atom = 0.77 A°
carbon and the hydrogen atom in CH4 = 1.14 A°
which is equal to 0.7 7 A° + radius of hydrogen
=> covalent radius of the hydrogen atom is 0.37A°
