Due to the vaccant p orbitals present in the N atom  it has not the tendency to undergoes the hydrolysis process.
Hwver Boron atom has no vacant p and d orbitals so easy to form the product H3BO3 that is the Boric acid.
The reaction seems more stable and highle energetic and smaller in size.
