As we say that Corrosion is electro chemical process than tel me what are its anode ,cathode and electrolyte?

Corrosion takes place on the surface of aa metal in the presence of corroding environment. An example of corrosion is rusting of iron, which takes place in the presence of moisture and oxygen. The part of iron surface which has less availability of oxygen acts as anode and the other part acts as cathose. The elctrolyte is the water droplets on the surface of the metal, it may contain salts which enhances its electrical conductivity. At anode oxidation takes place and t cathode reduction takes place.
