As polar bond is stronger than non-polar bond i.e., more polar is the bond, more stronger it is.... Then WHY in AOH type compounds if AO bond is more polar( EN diff > 1.4 ) than OH.. then AO bond breaks!! ???????? Why

Ionic bond is more strong than covalent bond. So polar bonds have mor eionic character which makes them stronger. More electronegative atom pull electron density towards itself and bond is easiy breaked in polar covalent molecule.
