how to remove the impurities

Dear student,

Metals such as lead and copper are often used in many personal applications such as fishing. Some fishermen/hobbyists like to create their own sinkers by obtaining metal from scrap sources and then melting it down. Scrap metal usually will contain a significant amount of impurities. Anyone can use this method to remove the impurities from metal on a small scale.
