1) Tetrachloroaurate [AuCl4]- is dsp2 (or sp2d) hybridized. The 4s, two 4p orbitals (on the x and y axes), and one 3 d orbital from the Au(III) become hybridized. There are no unpaired electrons in this polyatomic ion. This hybridization is usually not discussed much in general chemistry. Usually, sp, sp2, sp3, sp3d/dsp3, and sp3d2/d2sp3 are discussed.

2) Hybridisation of [Pt(NH3)4]2+ is dsp2 .  Pt+2 has two unpaired electron and NH3 act as strong field ligand .Paired these  two electron.. So 1D,1S and 2P are used in hyb.
