We all know that the reducing agent must have more negative ?G value. So, in the case of zinc oxide ,Zn has more negative ?G value then CO.

A rectification in your question:

Q.

why zinc(Zn) isnot extracted from zinc oxide through reduction with CO?

Reducing agent should have more negative ΔG value. In case of zinc oxide ,Zn has more negative ΔG value then CO as you can see from ellingham diagram, so it can not be reduced by CO.
