the formula is sqrt(n(n+2) here the ''n'' is the number of unpaired electrons present in a metal.here Fe has ooxidation  state +3 and it has 5 unpaired electrons...so we can take n=5

therefore the answer will be 5.91 B.M

IN THE COMPLEX K3[FeF6] the metal element is Ferrous .... So the oxidation state of the Ferrous is +3 ..

I THINK U KNOW THAT Fe+3 have 5 unpaired d-electrons So the magnetic moment of K3[FeF6}

see , fe is in + 3 oxidation state, therfore there will be three unpaired electrones in d orbital , so magnetic moment will be 3.87
