Most of the oxides of group 18 are neutral in nature,XeO, XeO2. However higher oxides of Xenon,ie XeO3 and XeO4 are acidic in nature. While XeO3 is weakly acidic, XeO4 is a strong acidic oxide which produces perxenic acid with water.
XeO4 + 2H2O = H4XeO6
