se the Rydberg formula, which gives you the wave length of the photons emitted by the jump from level n to level n=6 (which is 5th level about ground state n=1):

RH = 1.0967758×10^7m^-1 is theRydberg Constantfor hydrogen
=>
1/(RH ·?) = ( 1/36 - 1/n² )
n = 1/v[ 1/36 - 1/(RH·?) ]
= 1/v[ 1/36 - 1/(1.0967758×10^7m^-1 · 5924×10^-9m) ]
= 9
The series contains the following jumps (starting from the lowest energy):
7-->6 , 8-->6, 9-->6, 10-->6, etc.
Thus this photon represents the third lowest energy spectral line of the Humphreys series.
