Initially you can memorize by finding your own reasons of why are the ores named so?For example iron pyrites-FeS2 have a persulfide linkages and these are very strong requiring high amount of heat{pyrites} also if you know they are quite common in biomolecules stable and strong.....Later when you learn about them during the course of chemistry you will get to know them like magnetite has good amount of magnetic properties, limonites are hydrated ferric oxides,haem is present in RBCs-haematite{ferric ions}...
