IF AN ATOM REMOVE AN ELECTRON FROM ITS OUTERMOST SHELL THEN IT GAINS + VE CHARGE BECAUSE AT THAT TIME THEIR WILL BE  A DEFFICIENCY OF ELECTRON TAKES PLACE ON THE ATOM, THAT'S WHY WE USE +VE CHARGE TO SHOW THE DEFFICIENCY.
