 Hello ,  the concept behind the molarity and normality is  related to strength of the solution .

  Molarity : when one Kg of solute particle dissolve  in one litre of solution is called molarity of the solution. i.e

      amount of solute =1Kg

      volume of soluton = 1litre, then

      molarity =   1 Kg/1 litre= 1kg /litre.  It is denoted by "M" also.

  Normality : when one gm of solute dssolve in  litre of soluton is called normality. it is also denoted by "N". normality is like strength of  the solution .
