hwhy is nascent hydrogen more reactive than ordinary hydrogen?
since nascent hydrogen has an unshared electron. it tries to attain stability , hence it is more reactive.

but i read in my text buk that this theaory failed to explain why nascent hydrogen produced in different methods, differs in reactivity

The text book never said that nascent hdrogen is less reactive than Ordinary Hydrogen !
It only said that the Nascent hydrogen produced by diffeerent methods differ in the reactivity among themselves !!
