hwhy is nascent hydrogen more reactive than ordinary hydrogen? since nascent hydrogen has an unshared electron. it tries to attain stability , hence it is more reactive. RITE!!!!!!!!! but i read in my text buk that this theaory failed to explain why nascent hydrogen produced in different methods, differs in reactivity I DIDN'T GET THIS .

Dear han i,

The text book never said that nascent hdrogen is less reactive than Ordinary Hydrogen !

It only said that the Nascent hydrogen produced by diffeerent methods differ in the reactivity among themselves !!
