NCERT IS ""ENOUGH"" FOR IITJEE. no need to search for extra source and waste time.

j.d.lee is a very good book bt it is not of examination point of view. it is more of knowledge or reference.

so no need to unnecessarily read it.

dear ankita,

firstly, you should prefer your ncert inorganic text so as to command your basic concepts.this is because in iit jee most questions come directly or indirectly based on ncert text.

secondly.when you have done your first part, you can refer to following books(if u need it)-

(1)o.p aggrawal.inorganic chemistry(disha publications)

(2)inorganic chemistry by deepak joshi

thanks.
