Do aqueous solution of Alums turn Blue litmus into red?

aqueous solutions which are acidic in nature will turn blue litmus to red...but basic aqeous solutions turn red litmus to blue...so it depends on the aqeous soln whether its acidic or basic..!

That depends on the concentration of alum in water since litmus paper works in a specific pH range.
