What is quantum theory?

(quantum theory was stated by Max.PLanck..)

" it says energy is never radiated contineously but discontineously in packets called quanta"

one quanta is associated with energy of... E = h*v....'h' is planck's constant and 'v' is frequency

...

now this quanta is the smallest amt of energy radiated....one cannot radiate energy of less than one quanta....

and say you want to radiate more than one quanta then you must always have it in 'integral multiples of quanta'

i.e. 'E = n*h*v'

best way to understand is...energy doesnt flow like water(contineously).....it flows disconteneously......
