SULPHUR IS THE REQUIRED ANSWER. MANESIUM IS FOUND IN CHLOROPHYLL THAT IS WHY IT DOES NOT FORS THE RIGHT ANSWER HERE.
OXIDATION STATE OF Ba is +2 here.SO AS THIS IS CASE OF PEROXIDE EACH OXYGEN HAS -1 STATE
