Both the books are good for your preparation. It's depends on your requirement.

If your concepts are not clear you should go for Cengage as it has lot of theory with good explanation. It will help you to understand the concept better.

If you need a book to practice questions then you should go for DC Pandey.

 

You should also refer NCERT as you can get direct questions from there.

Well, you can opt for both.
 
The Physics book by BM Sharma (Cengage) has a lot of theory in it, Concept Application Exercises, as well as a huge stock of difficult problems given at the back of each chapter (along with their solutions at the end). The questions are mainly of Advanced level.
 
However, the book by DC Pandey contains only Numerical problems, which are good to solve.
 
My opinion is that, in Cengage you are getting Theory + Numerical problems, so you can easily go for Cengage. Otherwise you may opt for DC Pandey, no doubt on that.
