IIT JEE is a entrance examination to get admission into engineering colleges for undergraduate program across the INDIA. There are basically two exams: JEE Main & JEE Advanced. JEE Main is for admission into different NITs, IIITs and various private colleges where JEE Advances is to get into IITs. You need to be in top 1, 50, 000 of JEE Main to appear in JEE Advanced. Also, you need to be in top 20% of your +2 board exam to get into IIT.
