Grade 12th passIIT JEE Entrance Exam

sir i am unable to understand the rank i have got. all coaching and askiitians too all were saying that this year paper was difficult than last year and the cut off will definitely decrease. last year at 178 marks rank was 3901. i have obtained 178 marks but my rank is 4745. instead of decrease there is a large increase. please explain.

Since every year competition is increasing and numbe of students appearing for jee is increasing, that why such surpise has happened.

Sum of series 2[n/2] ! [n/2]!/ n! [2Co-2C2+3C2....+[-1]^n[n+1]2Cn] where n is an even positive integer. Kindly provide solution of this question and how to generalise this. How do we know that which expansion will give this?
