Question - Find the number of solutions of
sin x = x/10
I saw the solution for this. But I didn't understood. Please help

Draw the graph of sin x and |x|.

As sinx is always less than or equal to1, after |x| greater than 10 there will be no solution.

At 5pi/2 the value of |X|/10 is less than 1 so graph of sinx will be above |x|/10 so in r.h.s.to origin there will be 4 solutions, and in l.h.s to origin there will be 2 solutions, so overall there will be 6 solutions.
