Energy of an orbit\propto \dfrac{1}{n^2}
Hence energy second orbit=-1.51eV\times \dfrac{3^2}{2^2}=-3.4eV'
Therefore energy emitted by transition3\rightarrow 2is3.4eV-1.51eV=1.89eV
