Answer: (2) 2d/3u
 
Explanation: Relative velocities of one person with respect to other adjacent to him is 
u + ucos60    {equilateral triangle}
i.e 3u/2
 
Distance to be covered = d
 
Time taken = d/(3u/2)
                     = 2d/3u
