P= atmospheric pressure = 1 * 10^5
h= height of the water p= density of water = 10^3
g= acceleration due to gravity
Pressure at the bottom
of the tank =P + hpg = 3 * 10^5
hpg=(3 *10^5) - (P)
= (3 * 10^5) - (1 *10^5) = 2 * 10^5
Now we know that 1/2(p * v^2) = pgh =2 *10^5
So 1/2(p * v^2) = 2 * 10^5
v^2=( 2(2* 10^5))/p = (2(2 * 10^5))/(10^3)
v^2=400
v=√(400) or 20 m/s
