Please give expert advice for the following three queries. I am from Tamil Nadu and studying Chemical Engineering in NIT Trichy. If I get IT in IIIT Allahabad, IT in NIT Allahabad, CSE in NIT Nagpur or NIT Jaipur, which is best? Also, let me know whether I will be able to survive in these north indian institutions considering the language barrior, culture, etc. and do well to be among top 3? Also, let me know sacrificing one year and chemical engineering (being in top 3) is the best decision i have made?

I.T IN NIT ALLHABAD IS THE FRST PREFRENCE AND GIVE 2ND PREFERENCE TO I.T IN IIIT ALLHABAD . cancell the rest of the thing from yopur choice , and choose wisely what u have to do within these 2 . 
AND  1 thing i would like to ask – are u really intrested in comp. sci and I.T branch ?? 
beacuse if so, then as u got nit trichy chemical , at that time only u can get cse in some nit , i could guarentee you on that , as nit trichy falls as the top 2 nd nit in india after nit warangal . 
Coming to the 2^nd query – as you are asking about the language barrier , then i donot think u face such language barrier here , 
beacuse i knows a andhra boy who went to LPU 1 year back and he donot know any punjabi language and knows only telgu , and now , he is not facing any such problem .. 
so, these institutions are well equipped and u have to use only eng and hindi their , so, donot worry , u will not face any problem there . 
cOMING TO THE 3^rd query – i donot think so , that u have made the right decision . beacuse right now , u are in NIT TRICHY , and chemical engg is also a good branch , and obviously cse is better , but if it could be cse in nit trichy , warangal then that will be the right decision , so, THINK WISELY BEFORE TAKING ANY DECISION , 
U ARE NOW IN YOUR HOME STATE , THAT IS YOUR + POINT , AND ALSO AMONG THE TOP 3 NIT . AND ALL BRANCH ARE GOOD , THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS IS HOW STRONG YOUR RESUME ARE ..

Dear Student, you are already at a very good place, I am unable to make out what drives you crazy to think of comparing and contrasting titanic institutions and then expecting to choose one of them after finding which one is better!! Secondly, why you are scared of moving to another place than your home state? Don’t you want yourself to be conditioned or don’t you wish to learn something from would-be classmates from other lands and what if aftyerv the completion of your studies you get a posting in another state? Well, If you are bent upon dropping a year in order to be at another place, then you may consider these institutions too – Anna University, Chennai,.................Lovely Professional University, Phagwara,..................JJTU, Rajasthan
