# let me apprise you again what actually the question is.....multiply cos(theta) by the bracket of  sin(theta) plus sqrt of one plus sin2 (alpha)  the underlined portion of the problem is kept inside the bracket & then whole bracket is multiplied by cos(theta).it is to prove that the max& min value of the expression lies between plus minus sqrt of one plus sin2 (alpha)

Hi,

Its still confusing.
If you put alpha=0 than max value has to be 1.
But lets put theta as 45. Than the value of expression well get is [root(2)+1]/2 which is grater than 1
So the max value doesnt holds.
